Inflation’s impact on farm economy

OMAHA, N.E.(KELO)- The Federal Reserve Board’s fight against inflation is begriming to extract a toll on our economy.

The Fed’s main tool is to raise interest rates to cool the economy.

That’s being felt in the real estate industry, and now in farming and manufacturing.

Creighton University Economist Dr. Ernie Goss says farm equipment manufacturers are hurting.

As a result, Goss expects to see the Fed reduce interest rates next month.
