PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – The Interim Joint Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee of the South Dakota legislature held the first meeting to talk about the use of the CARES Act funding the state got from the federal government.
Committee Co-Chair, Representative Thomas Brunner of Nisland says they have been talking with Governor Kristi Noem.
Brunner says all the interim committees should come up with some spending plans.
Co-Chair, Senator Gary Cammack of Union Center says they want to find out where there are still needs.
Committees scheduled to meet include education, local government, commerce & energy and health and human services.
