ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Weather permitting beginning at 7am on Monday, July 17th, the following intersection will be closed to thru traffic for fire hydrant replacement:

9^th Ave. SW & S. 10^th St.

The intersection will be closed until 5 pm Monday, July 17th.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.

Beginning at approximately 7am on Monday, July 17th, 2023, water will be off in the following areas for fire hydrant replacement:

10^th St. from 8^th Ave. SW to 10^th Ave. SW

And

9^th Ave. SW from S. 9th St. to S. 10^th St.

The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.  Water is estimated to remain off until 5pm Monday, July 17th.  Work will be completed as quickly as possible.
