PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – Repair work is underway on an Interstate 90 bridge that was damaged last week.

State D.O.T. Chief Bridge Engineer Steve Johnson gave a report to the Transportation Commission.

Johnson says the bridge over the interstate is still usable.

Johnson says an investigation is underway.

Johnson told the commission that they get one or two bridge hits like this every year.
