PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The South Dakota legislature spent over three hundred sixty-eight thousand dollars for the Impeachment investigation and trial of former Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg.

Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton was a member of the select committee on investigation.

Stevens says they had to cover a lot of new ground.

Stevens says they used over three hundred hours of outside legal research.

Stevens says if another case rises in the future, there will now be some precedents to follow.
