James River Water Development receive five million dollars for water improvements

YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The James River Water Development District got five million dollars in federal ARPA funding for water improvement and conservation projects.

The work will be coordinated through the South Central Watershed. Manager Rocky Knippling says they have lots of options available.

Knippling says they can work with landowners across a wide area.

Knippling says they can get projects moving quickly.

Knippling says interested landowners can contact his office in Chamberlain or the James River District office in Huron.
