BISMARCK, ND (PlayNorthStar.com) – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce the return of the University of Jamestown (N.D.) to the league for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
“We are pleased to welcome the University of Jamestown back to the NSAA,” stated Dr. Alan LaFave, Chair of the NSAA Board of Presidents. “The opportunity to re-establish some of the natural and long-standing rivalries, along with a favorable geographical footprint, will allow for an exciting and positive experience for student-athletes and their families.”
Jamestown was one of the original members of the NSAA conference that began in 2013-14 season.
“The University of Jamestown is thrilled to be returning to the North Star for the 2024-24 season,” said President Dr. Polly Peterson. “We have enjoyed a long history of competitive rivalries with many of the universities in the league, and we are looking forward to returning to the conference where our student-athletes can continue to compete at a high level.”
“We’re really happy to be joining the North Star for the 2024-24 season,” said Jamestown’s Athletics Director Austin Hieb. “We’ve greatly appreciated Commissioner Ternes and Dr. LaFave’s leadership throughout this process. We expect next year to be great for both our student-athletes and supporters.”
