ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – South Dakota Hall of Fame member Jim Woster will be speaking in Aberdeen on Thursday, April 18. The Aberdeen Chamber’s Ag Committee will host the well-known agriculture expert at 1 p.m. at the Agtegra Innovation Center.

Woster began his career with the Sioux Falls Stockyards in 1962. He was the stockyards market reporter for many years. He opened the Stockyards Ag Experience in 2017 and is fundraising for a Stockyards Plaza, tentatively set to open in 2020. He also writes a column for Tri-State Neighbor and does work for the SDSU College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences, and Avera Health.

Lisa Anderson, Director of Public Relations with the Chamber, talked about the event.

The Innovation Center is located on the east edge of the city.

Anderson said there is no cost to attend.
