WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson joined one 184 House Republicans in a bid to censure Democratic Representative Adam Schiff, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, over his handling of the impeachment inquiry into the conduct of President Trump.
Johnson says the inquiry has been unfair.
The censure move was tabled by majority Democrats.
Johnson says voters should make the decision on the President’s conduct.
The President responded to the inquiry by calling it a “political lynching.”
Johnson says that isn’t an accurate description.
Johnson says the Intelligence Committee hearings should be open and transcripts available to all.
