Johnson pushing to expand reserves in Commodity Credit Corporation

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – As part of the massive economic rescue plan moving through Congress, there will be a proposal to expand reserves in the Commodity Credit Corporation.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson is behind that push.

Johnson says there is a strong ag coalition in Congress behind the plan.

Johnson says the price spread between the feedlot and the retail store needs to be investigated.

The two trillion-dollar plan could go to a vote in the Senate and House today and tomorrow.
