Johnson reflects on primary victory

WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT) — Dusty Johnson all but wrapped up another two year term in Congress with a Primary election day win Tuesday.

Johnson was an easy winner over Liz Marty May, picking up 76-percent of the statewide vote.

This campaign was different from the ones he’s been involved with in the past.

Johnson will be the heavy favorite in the November general election when he faces Libertarian candidate Randy Luallin of Hot Springs.
