Johnson says continuing resolutions are bad habit

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – While much of the attention in Congress is focused on the House impeachment hearings, some important functions of government need to continue.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says the funding for the federal government runs out this week.

Johnson says it’s hard for some to focus on more than one issue at a time.

Johnson says continuing resolutions have become a bad habit.

Funding for the defense authorization bill is also one of the major hang ups in finding a budget agreement.
