PIERRE, S.D. (DRG News) – United States President-elect Joe Biden is proceeding with building his team and transitioning to leadership of the country, despite the general election results not being official yet because of ballot disputes in a few states.

At a stop in Fort Pierre and Pierre earlier this week, South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson said it’s important to get each ballot counted to ensure the integrity of the election.

Johnson said he will reach out to Biden and congratulate him when he feels it will be appropriate to do so.
