MITCHELL, S.D. (WNAX) – Small refinery waivers granted by the Environmental Protection Agency to large oil companies is causing ethanol plants to scale back and, in some cases, shut down completely.
South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says he is pushing bi-partisan legislation in the House.
Johnson says they have also made appeals directly to President Trump.
Johnson says there should be an investigation into the EPA’s decision making.
Johnson made appearances at a couple of forums at Dakotafest in Mitchell.
