WASHINGTON, D.C. (KCCR) – South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson took a swing at the Internal Revenue Service on the House floor about the apparent lack of customer service and slow speed at which the issuing of stimulus funds and tax returns are taking place. Johnson says many are in dire need of those funds.
Johnson says it’s time for the IRS to step up.
Johnson sent a letter in April to IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig requesting that the IRS workforce be increased to meet the need to support constituents. He says multiple constituent requests from his office have been ignored and not responded to.
