Johnson says USMCA trade deal vote depends on Pelosi

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The U.S. House of Representatives has one more week in session before taking the August break. That means the USMCA trade deal will not be debated and up for a possible vote before fall.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says that all depends on Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Johnson says most Members of Congress understand how important it is.

Johnson says it is too good a deal to fail.

USMCA would replace NAFTA, which was approved in the early 1990s.
