WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – Congress passed a $2.2 trillion economic rescue plan last week and may have to approve more in the near future.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says the plan ramped up quickly.

Johnson says the health and economic information is alarming.

Johnson says it is a massive amount of federal spending.

Congress has adjourned and will return to Washington in mid April.
