WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The U.S. Postal Service has become a flash point in the mail in voting debate. Mail is piling up as the agency is under attack from the President.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says the timing is not good.

Johnson says Congress had a hand in causing the financial issues for the Postal Service.

Johnson says he would support some short term financial help.

The Postal Service is expected to handle a record number of ballots between now and the November election.
