Johnson votes against HEROES act

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The US House passed the $3 trillion  “HEROES” act last Friday that includes another round of $1,200-dollar payments, a raise for essential workers and expanded health insurance coverage.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson voted no.

Johnson says republicans have not shut the door on additional economic aid.

Johnson says there are a number of programs that haven’t been fully implemented, yet.

The 1,800-page bill is not expected to be passed by the Senate.
