PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The Joint Committee on Appropriations of the South Dakota legislature agreed on projections of a five percent increase in state revenues through next year.
Committee Chair, Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, says they have had a pretty good track record.
Hunhoff says the projection was a compromise.
Hunhoff says there will be increasing demands on those future revenues.
The Committee will combine spending requests along with projected revenues to come up with the budget early next month.
