PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The Joint Committee on Appropriations of the South Dakota legislature will meet this week in Pierre.

Co-chair, Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says they will get an update and refresher on the federal ARPA dollars.

Hunhoff says there are a lot of moving parts with the various funding sources.

Hunhoff says it’s hard to know how much and where the dollars are being spent.

The state got almost a billion dollars in direct federal pandemic aid.
