Jose-Marie Griffiths announced to resign as DSU President at the end of the academic year

MADISON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Dakota State University’s José-Marie Griffiths has announced this academic year will be her last as President of the University.

Following the end of her term, Griffiths will serve as chancellor, a new position created to support DSU’s cyber programs on a national level.

“It has been the honor of my career to serve as president of Dakota State University and to work alongside our dedicated faculty, staff, and students,” said Griffiths. “DSU has built a national reputation in cybersecurity and technology, while still maintaining our close-knit campus community. I look forward to continuing to champion our cyber mission as an ambassador, helping Dakota State write its next chapter of success.”

Griffiths has served as DSU’s President since 2015 and will continue to serve until the end of the 2025-26 school year.
