ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The local Kids Against Hunger branch is hosting a sale this evening at the facility located just north of the Village Bowl (the old Elks Lodge building). Hours are 6-10 p.m.

Lea Ann Haar, Owner and Manager of the Kids Against Hunger Thrift Store, provides the details.

There will be a variety of items available, plus hot cider, cookies and fudge.

Regular store hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Haar said the mission of Kids Against Hunger is to help prevent starvation around the world.

Even though the leader has passed away, the mission remains the same.
