Kindle says keeping kids in school important to communities

YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – Students in the Yankton School District start the second semester Monday after making to the holiday break with minimal COVID-19 infections.

Superintendent Wayne Kindle says he hopes numbers continue to improve into the spring.

Kindle says kids in school help keep the community on track.

Kindle says they are hoping their seniors can have a more normal end to their year.

Health officials have warned of a bump in infections following the holiday break.
