KSDN turns 75 Thursday

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- June 29, 1948 was the debut of KSDN 930.  Thursday marked the 75th anniversary of the station.  Brian Lundquist, owner of Prairie Winds Broadcast, offered a look back at the history of the station and what to look forward to in the future.

KSDN started out as a news & information station but had some changes in its history.  KSDN in the 1970s was a music station playing everything from soft rock to disco.  In 2000, Clear Channel purchased the station and was turned to a sports talk station part of the KFAN network out of Minneapolis.  In 2004, the station was merged with the station from the north end of town that was part of the Hub City Ranch.

A decision had to made about KSDN & Lundquist decided to return it back to news & information station & he explains why.
