WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- A topic of discussion at Monday night’s school board meeting was to approve a new program Lake Area Technical College has been working on called “Automotive Technology Electric Vehicles.”

KXLG spoke with Vice President of Lake Area Technical College Diane Stiles to find out more.

Stiles tells KXLG they have reputable reports electric vehicles are a direction some manufacturers are going.

Stiles feel this program will work great for the non-traditional students as well.

The program could start as early as fall of 2022.
