ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Wylie Park is always a popular destination in the summer, but with the Aberdeen Aquatic Center closed due to the coronavirus, traffic has definitely picked up at the lake at Wylie Park.
Dawn Thorstenson, Concessions Manager at Storybook Land, said she has noticed much more activity around the water this summer.
She said while she does not have numbers, swimmers of all ages are coming out to the lake.
Traffic is a bit more sporadic at Storybook Land, but Thorstenson said numbers seem to be picking up throughout the summer.
Of course, camping remains a staple during the summer months.
