MELLETTE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Sunday night, landowners in the region held a meeting in Mellette.
Moderator of the event was Spink County farmer Ed Fischbach.
Fischbach reminds the audience about Navigator’s petition hearing coming up later this month with the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission.
Fischbach reminds everyone that they are not against ethanol.
Brown County farmer Jared Bossly was in Fort Dodge, Iowa Saturday for their own rally and learned how far behind they are compared to South Dakota.
Bossly emphasizes not to give in to Summit Carbon Solutions for their property.
Fischbach runs down some of the provisions included in the easement to Summit.
Fischbach ran down some of the donors to some members of the South Dakota senators. One of them was the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce. Fischbach discuss a conversation that he & Dennis Feickert had with them.
Fischbach also ran down some of the sponsors of Governor Noem’s inaugeration event.
The South Dakota PUC will hold their hearing with Summit on September 11th.
