LANGFORD, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – When Langford Area students head back to school on Wednesday, Aug. 21, they will be greeted with some new additions.
The school recently added a new auxiliary gym, a new music room for band and choir, and a new weight room that serves as a wellness center.
Monte Nipp, Superintendent of the school, talked about each of the additions. He said they were prioritized during a study of the school.
He said gym space has been at a premium.
Nipp said the new music room brings the area into compliance with the American Disabilities Act.
The weight room area is much larger than the older one and will also function as a wellness center, which will be open to the public during various hours.
