PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – Over 23,000 workers now have continuing claims for unemployment benefits in South Dakota.

Despite that, Labor & Regulation Department Secretary Marcia Hultman says there are still a large number of job openings.

Hultman says her department can help unemployed workers find another job.

Hultman says their regional offices are still closed.

Hultman says people should use their website for updated information on unemployment benefits and job openings.
