Larger law school enrollment and its possible effects

YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – As enrollment increases at the USD Law School, there is hope that could translate to more lawyers in small towns and rural areas.

Dean of the Law School Neil Fulton says they have been talking to the state bar association about that shortage.

Fulton says it is not just the rural areas needing lawyers.

Fulton says there are opportunities for their students outside of the bigger cities.

Fulton says they expect about eighty-five freshman students when fall classes start next week.
