Larry J. Schnabel, 74, Eureka, SD, died Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Bowdle Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Saving Grace Community Church, Eureka, led by Pastor Ryan Gage. Interment follows at the Eureka Cemetery.

Visitation begins 5:00 PM, Monday at Lien-Straub-Carlsen Chapel, Eureka, with a prayer service scheduled for 6:30 PM.

Larry is survived by Judy, his wife of 44 years; one son, Thomas (Meghan) Schnabel, of Eureka; one daughter, Kristie (Darrick) Funk of Westport, SD; one sister, Susan (Mark) Holzwarth of Mound City, SD; and six grandchildren—James and Hunter Wyly; and Peyton, Mallory, Danyelle, and Korbyn Schnabel.
