• Game 1: The Aberdeen Smittys dropped Thursday’s opener, 7-1, to PCBA Post 18 Legion. Joe Cogley went 2-for-3 with an RBI triple for Aberdeen’s lone run. Porter Lozenski started on the mound, and PCBA’s Kaiden Allen threw a complete game. PCBA finished with 13 hits, while Jacob Ebert drove in three runs.

• Game 2: The Aberdeen Smittys erased a 5-0 deficit and scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh to stun PCBA Post 18 Legion, 7-6, in walk-off fashion. Levi Hoffman delivered the game-winning RBI single, while Karson Borge’s two-run single highlighted the comeback. Michael Dutenhoffer finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Donovan Kiesow earned the win in relief
