WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says they have been getting briefings about changes and upgrades to cyber security.
He says changes have been made to allow more offensive use of cyber powers.
Rounds says it allows the military to cut off attacks before they happen.
Rounds says there is no evidence that any outside government got direct access to any election system.
Rounds says they were told that more disinformation campaigns are expected to be aimed at disrupting the election process next year.
