ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Leadership Aberdeen is preparing to launch a contest to help the Aberdeen Area Humane Society.
The Hub City Hound photo contest will run from Sept. 10 to Oct. 10. Proceeds from the event will go to help the Humane Society in its campaign for a new building.
Leadership member Andrew Bergan explained why the class picked the Humane Society for this year’s project.
Fellow Leadership member Olaf Hanson talked about the contest.
Bergan said the leadership class felt that the Humane Society was an ideal cause to support.
Hanson said the pandemic has altered plans this year, causing the project to take place in the fall.

The winner will be also be featured on the cover of the Humane Society’s 2021 calendar.
