PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- Lawmakers and Legislative Research Council staff have been tested in recent weeks about avoiding phishing emails received on their work computers. L-R-C Chief Information Technology Officer Elijah Rodriguez says legislators have begin improving on not getting caught opening dangerous emails.
Rodriguez says L-R-C staff also improved their results.
Rodriguez says the Technology Sub-Committee of the Legislature’s Executive Board will be reviewing updates to Legislative Technology security policy.
Rodriguez says the Legislative Research Council’s information technology division is now fully staffed.
Rodriguez gave his report to the Executive Board of the South Dakota Legislature earlier this week.
