CENTERVILLE, S.D.(WNAX)- New legislative maps approved this year will have some legislators moving to new territory.

One of those Representative Richard Vasgaard of Centerville. He was elected from District 17 in 2020, but will be running in District 16 this year.

Vasgaard says there are more miles involved in District 16.

Along with Vasgaard, incumbent Representative Kevin Jensen of Canton and challenger Karla Lems of Canton have filed for the two House seats.

Kaleb Weis from District 2 will now run for the House seat in District 3 that covers most of the city of Aberdeen.
