ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- During the legislative coffee, the legislators from Districts 1, 3, & 23 were asked about education and especially HB1020 dealing with the education savings accounts programs.
Here are the responses:
District 1:
Representative Logan Manhart updated on HB1009 which main focus is on homeschooling.
District 3:
Representative Brandei Schaefbauer talks about the role of parents and the South Dakota Constitution.
Representative Al Novstrup told the audience he would be a supporter of all educations.
Senator Carl Perry discuss the nature of HB1020.
District 23:
Representative Scott Moore offer a challenge to the School Boards.
Representative Spencer Gosch talks about what the federal government is doing and would like to see South Dakota government does.
Senator Mark Lapka discuss the importance of being responsible with what to do was tax money for education.
None either endorsed or expressed oppostion to HB1020.
