MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- Members of the South Dakota House Select Committee on Investigation will meet again when legislators return to Pierre for veto day on March 28th, and their report will be turned over to the full House. The committee has been considering the impeachment of Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg for his conduct following the crash that killed Joe Boever west of Highmore in September of 2020. District 20 Representative Lance Koth says it is possible that the committee will make no recommendation.
If the House votes for impeachment, the Senate would then act as the jury. District 20 Senator Josh Klumb says the process has been hurt by the amount of information that is out there.
Representative Koth says the matter should have been settled by now.
The full House will then vote on impeachment on April 12th.
