Legislators likely to have short agenda on final day of session

PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota legislators return to Pierre this Friday for the final day of the 2019 session.

House Majority Leader Lee Qualm of Platte says so far they have a blank agenda.

Qualm says they need to fill out the Executive Board before they can set interim study topics.

Qualm says its likely there will be a number of new members this year.

The last day of the session is usually reserved to consider any vetoes and other last minute business.
