YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota legislators are preparing for the 2021 session that begins on Jan. 12.

Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, who will be moving to the Senate in January, says she is very concerned about community health care providers.

Hunhoff says health care workers are very stressed.

Hunhoff says there will be long term impacts to schools from the pandemic.

Hunhoff says she hopes to continue on the Appropriations Committee when those assignments are handed out.
