PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators have reached agreements on a tax cut and spending priorities as they prepare to wrap up the main run of this year’s session.
House Majority Leader Will Mortenson of Pierre says state sales taxes will drop by point three percent.
Mortenson says state employees are included in the budget increase.
Mortenson says community providers will see a larger increase.
Lawmakers will return to Pierre on March 27th to deal with any possible vetoes and other last minute business.
