PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota legislators will now dig through the details of the budget plan presented by Governor Kristi Noem yesterday.
House Majority Leader Lee Qualm of Platte says they knew dollars were going to be tight.
Qualm says he agrees with some of the priorities outlined by the Governor.
House Minority Leader Jamie Smith of Sioux Falls says there were some high points.
Smith says he is not happy with the proposed education funding.
Legislators start the 2020 session on Jan. 14.
