Legislators return Monday to start the final two weeks of the session

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- When South Dakota lawmakers return to Pierre on Monday, they will be starting the final eight days of the main run of this years session.

Senate Majority Leader Casey Crabtree of Madison says they have been pretty efficient so far.

Crabtree says the budget will be the main focus over the last two weeks.

Crabtree says the Appropriations Committee is setting the stage for the budget debate.

Senators will also debate the sales tax cut of three tenths of a percent that was passed by the House.
