PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- South Dakota lawmakers want voters to decide the issue of requiring work for some medicaid recipients.
A State Senate Committee will debate a resolution.
The American Cancer Society’s Ben Hanson says voters have already decided the issue, just over a year ago.
At issue is a resolution calling for a ballot measure on work requirements for Medicaid.
Opponents say going back to voters is an insult to the decision they made in 2022.
