PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) – The Legislature’s Appropriations Committee is taking another run through the numbers before the 2024 Legislative Session.
The Committee just finished hearing the progress of spending Federal money from COVID relief.
The state received 975-million dollars.
All but 105-million of that has been spoken for, and Jim Terwilliger of the Bureau of Finance and Management expects lawmakers will hear about plans to spend that money next month.
The Committee is hearing about the impact of Medicaid expansion at this hour.
