YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- While construction of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System is not yet done, there is already talk of expansion.

Executive Director Troy Larson says federal funding to finish the project is on the horizon.

Larson says the demand for water is rapidly growing.

Larson says they are working with the states and their water members.

The Sioux Falls City Council approved a resolution this week supporting the water expansion.
