YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Lewis & Clark Regional Water System is waiting to get more details on their share of federal infrastructure funding.
Executive Director Troy Larson says they expect to get most of the money upfront.
Larson says those millions of federal dollars won’t complete their entire three state system.
Larson says they have contracts ready to go.
The project supplies water to towns and cities in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota from wells near the Missouri River south of Vermillion.
