ONIDA, S.D.(KCCR)- LifeServe Blood Center carried out its inaugural blood drive in Onida last week. A total of 29 donors came to the Phoenix Center and donated 36 units of blood, capable of save over 100 lives. Abbie Arneson with LifeServe says the first drive went well.
Arneson says LifeServe recognizes previous donations to thank long-time donors for their commitment to saving lives.
Arneson says the need for blood may fluctuate but remains constant.
LifeServe’s first Pierre area blood drive is coming up October 4th at the Stanley County High School.
