ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – A light tower toppled over at Fossum Field on Sunday. The damage was noticed Sunday afternoon. No injuries were reported in the incident.

A tower down the right field line behind first base fell on top of the clubhouse and concession stand, damaging the south end of the building. The lights in the tower were replaced about a year ago.

Fossum Field has yet to be used for organized baseball this spring. The Hub City Hot Shots home opener is scheduled for May 31. Other teams that use the park include the Aberdeen Smittys, Aberdeen Teeners, Northern State, Presentation College and local amateur teams.
